On this Valentine’s Day, the halls of the General Register Office Guyana were filled with love, as we proudly facilitated the union of sixteen beautiful couples in holy matrimony! It was a day of pure romance, where love blossomed and bonds were forever sealed.
Amidst the backdrop of red roses and fluttering hearts, each couple exchanged vows, promising to love and cherish each other for eternity. These weddings were conducted by the Registrar General; Mr. Raymon Cummings and Deputy Registrar Mr. Visham Budhoo and as part of Valentine’s promotion couples were provided with roses as well as non-alcoholic wine for toasting.
The General Register Office Guyana continues to make the process of applying for a Marriage Licence easy for persons desirous of getting married. Marriage petitions can now also be submitted to our regional offices in Essequibo and New Amsterdam and take 3-5 business days to process after which parties can either get married at our office locations or elsewhere.
To the newly married couples, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness, understanding, and unwavering love. May your journey together be blessed with countless moments of joy, laughter, and shared dreams. We are honored to have been part of your special day and to have witnessed the beginning of your beautiful love story.
